Writers workshop to be held Saturday

FAIRFIELD — A workshop on how to plan and write a manuscript will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Writers Resource Center office, 1652 W. Texas St., Suite 247, in Fairfield.

The workshop will be led by Center CEO and author Janie Bess, who will cover what writers need to do to get a jumpstart on their next book or their first book. There is a fee. For more information, call 877-629-7369 or go to www.writersresource.org.

The Center was started in 2003 to offer resources, classes and workshops to aspiring and accomplished writers as well as information on how to find an agent or publisher.
