Winds whip up flames as shed burns in rural Fairfield
FAIRFIELD — Firefighters are battling a structure fire in rural Fairfield amid strong winds that are blowing smoke across nearby Interstate 80.
The fire was reported at about 1:50 p.m. on Suisun Parkway near Business Center Drive. A shed-like structure was fully involved.
Power lines were down at the scene, preventing firefighters from quickly attacking the fire.
Firefighters brought the fire under control at about 2:35 p.m.
