FAIRFIELD — A vehicle hit a wall Thursday at the Denny’s restaurant on the 200 block of Pittman Road.

Police received the call at 6:54 p.m. A 67-year-old man in the back seat of the car complained of back pain and took a taxi to the hospital, said Fairfield police Sgt. Franco Cesar.

The vehicle did not enter the restaurant, Cesar said.
