The failed leaders endlessly jacked their jaws and yapped. But nothing could stem the avalanche of red ink, busted budgets, piggesh unionized employees, failed missions along with unlivable cities and a debased ignorant citizenery. And in the end Rome was destroyed. So California had to follow their example into the abyss.
