Mall to host Ultimate Army Throw Down

FAIRFIELD — Pull-ups, push-ups and prizes await those willing to take part in the Ultimate Army Throw Down from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Solano Town Center mall, 1350 Travis Blvd.

In addition to a boot camp-worthy competition, participants will enjoy free demonstrations from Army soldiers and the opportunity to enter a raffle for prizes. There are special gifts for the first 150 guests.

Visit the Army Recruiting Office located on Solano Town Center’s lower level, near See’s Candies, for more details. The mall can be reached at 425-1164.
