YOU WOULD IMAGINE THAT SOMETHING BEING OFFERED WOULD BE POSTED IN ADVANCE. MAYBE YOU SHOULD POST THINGS LIKE THIS THE DAY BEFORE SO PEOPLE CAN BE INFORMED A DAY AHEAD SO THEY CAN MAKE ARRANGEMENTS TO ATTEND, READING ABOUT IT THE DAY IS HAPPENING MAY BE TOO LATE FOR ALOT OF READERS. SAYING THURSDAY TO ME AND MANY OTHERS IS UNDERSTOOD AS A FUTURE DAY, FOR PRESENT DAY MANY WOULD SAY “TODAY”!

This has always been a complaint of mine also…the piece should state, today, Thursday, Feb 14 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. It is less confusing, if you read something and go back and look for it later, to have it clearly stated this way. Sometimes in the past the paper would just say Monday, for example and not give a date….I will now insult you in a Shakespearean manner, to take out my fustrations with this issue……or maybe not, you are kind of a VIP……Bye

@colleen perry: It states Thursday in both the headline and the first paragraph. That’s today, or at least how newspapers and major news websites identify the days of the week. The event continues to 3 p.m., and the training only takes about 15 minutes or so.
