Solano foundation hosts corporate giving workshop

FAIRFIELD — Sarah Jo Neubauer of the Foundation Center will present a workshop titled “Introduction to Corporate Giving,” hosted by the Solano Community Foundation from 1:30 to 3 p.m. July 22 at the local foundation’s training room, 470 Chadbourne Road, first floor.

The session is limited to the first 20 participants to register by calling 399-3846, emailing [email protected] or registering online at www.solanocf.org.

The workshop will focus on corporate support for nonprofits and frequent questions concerning how and why corporations give to nonprofit organizations.

The Solano Community Foundation, established in 1996, builds capacity for local nonprofits and fosters a culture of philanthropy throughout Solano County, according to its press release.
