FAIRFIELD — The Solano County Sheriff’s Office will host four training sessions for law enforcement agencies across California.
The training is to be conducted by the state Department of Justice and is for people associated with entering data concerning those who are required to register because of convictions for arson and sexual crimes.
State law requires that such people register annually with local law enforcement.
The training, specific to entering a registrant’s data into the California Sex and Arson Registry, will be provided free of charge to the law enforcement personnel who attend and will be presented in four-hour sessions.
There are four sessions scheduled, two each Wednesday and Thursday. Contact Debbie Tawley at 784-7050 to sign up.
