Ummmm..... Have you seen Claybank?

I agree with Austin, Claybanks is going to become a major road for locals to go from Fairfield-Vacaville-Travis once the construction and closure begins on Peabody. I cannot imagine all those cars and trucks going through that area the way it is today! Please widen and repave Claybanks!

ALL the streets in Fairfield are in really bad shape. I'm embarrased when I drive my out of town guests around Fairfield. But yes, Claybank is by far the worst!

Clay Bank got torn up when the City installed a major water transmission pipeline, part of a project to link the North Bay Regional Water Treatment Plant on Peabody Road with Cordelia. The City planned to rebuild the road as part of the project, but there was an unseen condition that held it up. Solano Irrigation District's water transmission pipeline from its Clay Bank Water Treatment Plant at the base of Cement Hill runs down Clay Bank to serve Suisun City. It turned out that pipeline is so shallow it interfered with the road work. So the pipeline needed to be replaced and relocated. It took some time for the City and SID to work out the details, not the least of which was financing. The upshot is the City missed at least one (spring to fall) construction season. My understanding is that project is now ready to proceed and will any time now.

Walters rd off of airbase. There are potholes that no car can truly handle. And while ie witnessed hilborn get repaved three times in 6 years I've never seen anyone even patch those potholes.

The complaint from council "no money". Ok then there are plenty of folks who care about Fairfield, give us then materials we will fill in the holes.
