Riley family to host gift fundraiser for foster children

FAIRFIELD — The Riley family of Fairfield for its second year is collecting 100 gifts for local foster children, from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the indoor trampoline sports arena business Jump Highway, 455 Lopes Road.

Anyone who brings an unwrapped boy’s or girl’s gift or $10 gift card will get half off the price to jump on the trampolines, according to organizers. The gifts will go to EMQ FamiliesFirst, which provides foster care and adoption services along with other child-based outreach programs.

The family collected 129 gifts last year. The gifts included $225 in gift cards, checks and other donations, according to mother Wendy Riley.
