Rejoicing @ Rockwell on tap for weekend

FAIRFIELD — Mount Calvary Baptist Church plans its fifth annual Rejoicing @ Rockwell Manor Apartments event from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at 693 E. Tabor Ave.

The event will include free backpacks and school supplies, blood pressure screening, dental hygienists, hip-hop workshops, haircuts, face painting and praise dancing.

The guest speaker is Qheem the Redeemed. The event is hosted by Mount Calvary’s Ministries in collaboration with Solano County Library.

    School supplies at Food Maxx for $1 are an easy way and inexpensive way to contribute to this VERY worthy cause.$10 backpacks to put it all in. Be a part of a child's education and you can CHANGE THE WORLD. BE THE CHANGE.
