Fairfield police offer seminar for property managers

FAIRFIELD — Police will offer a free seminar in April to assist property managers in increasing safety in their multiple-housing complexes.

The Fairfield Police Department will conduct a training seminar for certification in the Crime Free Multi-Housing Program. It will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 11 at the Art Koch Training Facility, 1717 Rex Clift Lane.

The event is for property management of Fairfield apartment communities. It will include eight hours of training in a classroom setting where participants will receive training in crime prevention, credit and criminal screening, drug and gang awareness, domestic violence and rental property law.
