Police Activities League hosts cash for college workshop

FAIRFIELD — The Fairfield Police Activities League will team up with the California Student Aid Commission to host a Cash for College Financial Aid Workshop on Feb 26. at the Matt Garcia Youth Center.

The Cash for College Financial Aid Fair starts at 6:30 p.m. and offers assistance, in English and Spanish, for 2014-15 Free Application for Student Aid by prospective college students.  High school seniors and parents are encouraged to attend.

High school seniors who attend a California Cash for College workshop in February will get help completing the FAFSA or California Dream Act Application and qualify for a $1,000 scholarship.

The PAL Center is at the Sullivan Interagency Youth Services Center located at 2195 Union Ave, in Fairfield. This event is open to all interested students and parents. For more information, all 422-6288 for more information.
