Harriet Stricklen is a true hero. Being willing to stand up every day for what is right, often times being unpopular, is a testament of true character. I am glad that she and Steve Olry are getting the type of backing from Chief Tibbet and Sean Quinn that can really make a lasting improvement.
The DVD night sponsored by John Mraz is great. Earning rewards by following the law and getting good grades in school is a great goal. Giving presents for no reason is not good. Free gifts given to “needy” children are not valued and taken care of… because they can just get another new one for free.
