Organizers seek pageant hopefuls

FAIRFIELD — Rehearsals begin March 10 for women who hope to become Miss Teen Vacaville, Miss Vacaville or Mrs. Vacaville.

The pageant is May 10 at the Vacaville Performing Arts Theatre. Rehearsals are from 7 to 8 p.m. weekly at Danc-Sing Stars Studio/Missouri Street Theatre, 1125 Missouri St.

Miss Teen Vacaville is open to ages 13-16. Miss Vacaville is for ages 17-25. Mrs. Vacaville is open to married women who are 20 or older.

There is no talent or swimsuit competition. Rehearsals cover interview techniques, poise and modeling. Winners participate in local functions such as festivals and parades.

Applications are also being taken for the Little Miss and Mister Fairfield titles. Age divisions range from 1 through 12 years. Winners will be named at the May 10 pageant in Vacaville.
