Multi-vehicle accident on I-80 sends one to hospital

FAIRFIELD — A three- to four-vehicle accident on eastbound Interstate 80 blocked left-lane traffic and sent one driver to the hospital Friday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The accident occurred around 6 p.m. near the Waterman Boulevard/Air Base Parkway exit.

Three to four cars blocked eastbound traffic until the area was cleared at 6:37 p.m. One driver was sent to David Grant Medical Center for complaint of pain.

No other injuries were reported.

    I had to keep checking the day and time - but if I am correct, "Friday night at 6pm" hasn't occurred yet?

    This is how scary things have become in Fairfield..... City residents are willing to become crash victims before they're becoming shooting victims.
