FAIRFIELD — The Master Gardeners of Solano County are getting things ready for their free public plant exchange.
Participants should bring plants in pots no larger than 5 gallons.
The plant exchange takes place from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the University of California Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners office, 501 Texas St. in Fairfield.
A series of mini talks will focus on specific gardening topics: succulents at 9:30 a.m., plant propagation at 10:15 a.m., fall gift ideas at 11 a.m. and how to become a master gardener at 11:30 a.m.
Parking in front of the office is limited. Additional parking is available across the street.
