Man hurt in motorcycle crash

FAIRFIELD — Fairfield police want help from the public in determining the cause of a Tuesday evening motorcycle crash.

Police at 6:36 p.m. received reports of a motorcycle accident at Fairfield High School, Sgt. Joshua Kresha said. They found a man with major injuries who had crashed on East Atlantic Avenue and ended up in the school parking lot. The victim was taken to a local trauma center. Police are investigating the cause of the crash.

Anyone who may have witnessed the crash is asked to call police at 428-7300.
