FAIRFIELD — The Tri-City NAACP elected new leaders at its reorganization meeting recently.
The group elected Fairfield resident Minnie Noble as president, Deloris Roach of Vacaville as first vice president and Marjorie Mizel and Shelia Johnson, both of Suisun City, as members at large. Fairfield residents Linda Smith and Calvin Wolfe were appointed to secretary and assistant treasurer, respectively. New executive committee members will serve a two-year term.
The first meeting of the year will be held 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 1735 Enterprise Drive, in the Zoe Building, Room V115. The public is invited to attend.
All meetings of the Tri-City NAACP will be held from 10 a.m. to noon every third Saturday of the month, at the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church.
