FAIRFIELD — The library will host a tutor-preparation series for those interested in helping adults learn to read.

The free sessions will begin with an orientation March 29 or April 2 at the Fairfield Civic Center Library, 1150 Kentucky St. Volunteers must be adults and do not need previous teaching experience, according to Solano County Library Literary Services in a press release. The preparation is in Fairfield, but volunteers may tutor at their local library.
