Ledgewood Creek Winery readies for final event

Ledgewood Creek Winery for one last time will host Child Haven’s annual Art, Wine and Food Fundraiser.

The Frisbie family recently sold the winery at 4589 Abernathy Road in the heart of Suisun Valley to E&J Gallo Winery. Gallo has closed the tasting room. But the barrel room will reopen for the Child Haven event at 1 p.m. Sunday.

Ledgewood Creek wines will be served with food by Joan Cruise of Flavors Catering. More than a dozen local artists will display and sell their work, with 30 percent of the proceeds going to Child Haven.

Tickets for this year’s Art, Wine and Food Fundraiser can be purchased by going to www.bidpal.net/childhaven or by calling 425-5744.
