Class to teach cooking with mushrooms

FAIRFIELD — The Il Fiorello Olive Oil Company will host a class April 27 on mushroom cookery, in partnership with Mycopic Gourmet Mushrooms.

Attendees will learn about mushrooms from foraging, cultivation to culinary use. Students will prepare a six-course mushroom dinner.

The class will take place from 3 to 6 p.m. at 2625 Mankas Corner Road. There is a fee and reservations are required.
