Land Trust announces Rockville Trails Preserve hikes

FAIRFIELD — Free guided hikes at Rockville Trails Preserve are planned May 24 and May 31.

The first hike is from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30.p.m. and focuses on local geology and geography. The second one is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will explore the area’s ecosystems.

Rockville Trails Preserve is only accessible by docent-led hikes.

Space is limited and advance registration is required. Visit www solanolandtrust.org/CalendarList.aspx for details and signup information, or call Natalie DuMont at 432-0150, ext. 200.

Solano Land Trust’s Rockville Trails Preserve is located along Rockville Road, across from the City of Fairfield’s Rockville Hills Regional Park. Those participating in the hikes are asked to meet and the “Ice House” building on Rockville Road and carpool from there.

    Definition of Docile, "adjective: docile ready to accept control or instruction; submissive". Sounds like a fun outing to the park!!!!!!!
