FAIRFIELD — Free guided hikes at Rockville Trails Preserve are planned May 24 and May 31.
The first hike is from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30.p.m. and focuses on local geology and geography. The second one is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will explore the area’s ecosystems.
Rockville Trails Preserve is only accessible by docent-led hikes.

Solano Land Trust’s Rockville Trails Preserve is located along Rockville Road, across from the City of Fairfield’s Rockville Hills Regional Park. Those participating in the hikes are asked to meet and the “Ice House” building on Rockville Road and carpool from there.
