Housing, health finance resources meet set

FAIRFIELD — Assemblyman Jim Frazier, the Community Housing Opportunity Corp. and First 5 Solano County invite community members to a conference on housing and health finance resources.

The event will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 25 at the Solano County Events Center, 601 Texas St., Fairfield.

The free resource fair will feature nonprofit groups, state agencies and housing and finance experts who will give participants comprehensive information concerning budgeting and credit, homeownership preparation and programs, foreclosure assistance, health insurance coverage, consumer protection services, and fraud and scam services, Frazier said in a release.

    First they take our money, then they take our healthcare. Now they send out politicians to tell us how to go about jumping through the hoops to get the healthcare they've decided to give us. And we're that blind?
