Group plans Martin Luther King Jr. breakfast

FAIRFIELD — Karen McCord,  professor of psychology and ethnic studies coordinator at Solano Community College, is the guest speaker at the upcoming Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Breakfast.

The event is sponsored by the Fairfield-Suisun City-Vacaville section of the National Council of Negro Women Inc. It will take place at 9 a.m. Jan. 20 at the Hilton Garden Inn, 2000 Gateway Blvd.
