FAIRFIELD — Gov. Jerry Brown has appointed a Fairfield resident who works at UC Berkeley to the California Student Aid Commission.
Harry Le Grande, 59, has served as the vice chancellor of Student Affairs at Berkeley since 2008 and has worked at the university since 1981. He has been a member of the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators since 2008, American College of Personnel Administration since 1981 and the National Forum for Black Public Administrators since 1985. He earned a master’s in education from Oregon State University.
This position requires Senate confirmation. Compensation is $100 per diem.
