FAIRFIELD — Gov. Jerry Brown on Wednesday signed into law a transportation bill authored by one of Solano County’s state Assembly representatives.
Assembly Bill 1070 by Jim Frazier, D-Oakley, amends state law as it pertains to the financing of major transportation projects throughout the state.
The specific types of financing are governed by the California Transportation Financing Authority, which was created in 2009 to provide additional ways to finance state transportation projects.
Frazier represents the 11th Assembly District, which includes Fairfield, Vacaville, Travis Air Force Base and Rio Vista and extends into both Contra Costa and Sacramento counties.
