By August 20, 2014

FAIRFIELD — A recommendation that Thomas Geiger be appointed to the city Planning Commission for a term that ends in 2018 goes before Fairfield City Council members when they meet Tuesday.

Councilwomen Pam Bertani and Catherine Moy interviewed eight applicants for the post.

The vacancy was created when commissioner Don McDonald’s term expired in June. McDonald, Alvina Sheeley, Blair Aas, Tamer Totah, Brian Thompson, Aaron Garcia and Thomas Ewen were interviewed along with Geiger.

Council members meet at 6 p.m. in the chamber at 1000 Webster St. in Fairfield.
