Sad to see pics of a FF historical building on fire. Our family had good memories there when it was Fairfield Cinema1. My Husband worked there for 20 years as a Projectionist.

I hope everyone is safe, and the owners can rebuild and re-open.

The fire fighters are working hard doing all they can to stop the fire from spreading. A tragic event for our Fairfield.

Quite disheartening. Sad. I was there for my first time last Friday. It was nice. The old theater was elegant by local standards. Long drapes covered the walls. Tables were not to close together as some places I've seen. The marquee seemed to always have a name on it that was a top billing in bigger cities, here in Fairfield! The staff was friendly and the bar well stocked. I had hoped to be able to revisit it soon. Alas, never again. I took images of the interior, patrons, bartender, and staff. How can I share them now? I never knew the history of the place. Will it be rebuilt? Or will it become another empty lot, like the Bowling Alley, with the Geronimo Room and it's two other bars, on North Texas. What will happen to the delightful mural on PEPPERBELLY'S side wall depicting life in SOLANO COUNTY? Many local artists spent much time on it. Will there be an effort by the community to salvage or resurrect this historic building? I share Nancy Boyd's concerns and hope for the best.

Sad. I met my wife there 20 years ago. She was an employee of Cinema 1.

That was an old building. Could that small earthquake we had Friday morning be the cause?? Just throwin it out there!
