Fire destroys mobile home in rural Fairfield

FAIRFIELD — Flames raced through a mobile home early Monday, leaving the double-wide in ruins.

The fire was reported shortly after 9 a.m. on the 4600 block of Suisun Valley Road near Ledgewood Road.

Firefighters with the Suisun Fire Protection District called a second alarm about 15 minutes later, noting that the home was fully engulfed in flames.
