Faith in Action to host volunteer orientation

FAIRFIELD — Faith in Action is hosting a volunteer orientation training from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 7.

Compassionate people who are willing to make phone calls, home visits, run errands, help with grocery shopping, provide senior peer counseling or transportation assistance for homebound senior citizens, are needed.

Those with skills for home repair projects are also welcome.

The orientation training is at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church’s Fireside Room, 1600 Union Ave.
