Community sales in Cordelia, Rio Vista

By From page A3 | May 03, 2014

FAIRFIELD — Bargain hunters, start your engines.

The annual Cordelia Community Sale is Saturday and Sunday. The sale is a community event but individual participants control their own merchandise and hours. Most sellers will begin about 8 a.m. Saturday, said Dorothy Clausen Raley, who helps organize the event.

More residents participate on Saturday, she said. She suggests shoppers park their cars and walk the sale area.

In the same area, on Saturday only, the Rodriguez High School Athletic Boosters will host its second annual Car Show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Gates opens at 8 a.m. The venue is at 5000 Red Top Road.

Rio Vista’s Trilogy is also hosting a community sale at 9 a.m. Saturday. The address is 1201 Clubhouse Drive. This is a gated community. There will be no entrance prior to 9 a.m.

A complete listing of all the sales can be found in the Daily Republic classifieds section.
