City seeks Planning Commission applicants

FAIRFIELD — The city is accepting applications for one seat on the Fairfield Planning Commission.

The term begins July 1 and ends June 30, 2018. Meetings begin at 6 p.m. the second and fourth Wednesday of each month in the City Council chamber.

The Planning Commission, under state law, acts as the principal land use advisory board to the City Council. Mayor Harry Price will appoint the commission member with the approval of the council.

Applications are available at the City Clerk’s office at Fairfield City Hall, on the fourth floor of 1000 Webster St. For applications by mail, call 428-7402. The application deadline is June 19.
