FAIRFIELD — On Thursday Fairfield police officers conducted an underage alcoholic beverage sales compliance check at 44 local businesses.
Using underage decoys, officers conducting the compliance checks found that none of clerks from the businesses visited sold alcoholic beverages to the underage decoys.
The Fairfield Police Department will continue to do compliance checks at businesses in Fairfield that sell alcoholic beverages.
These operations are intended to reduce the availability of alcoholic beverages to minors and are funded by a grant provided by the Solano County Board of Supervisors and Fairfield’s Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drugs Task Force.
