FAIRFIELD — A four-car chain-reaction crash on Walters Road sent two of the four drivers to the hospital Wednesday morning, according to the Fairfield Fire Department.

The crash occurred when one car rear-ended another at 8:30 a.m., setting off the chain reaction on northbound Walters Road just south of Air Base Parkway.

All four cars had minor to moderate damage. Two of the drivers were taken to David Grant Medical Center at Travis Air Force Base to be treated for minor injuries, Fire Department officials said.
