WINTERS — RootStock will host a reception Friday for the opening of the “Cycle Winters” art exhibit, with the band Bonanza King providing the music.

The event will be from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at 22 Main St. RootStock is a specialty gift shop, gallery and tasting room in downtown Winters.

RootStock is celebrating the spirit of adventure and beauty in the cycling community by having a group art exhibit focused on bike art and bike trails in Yolo County, a RootStock press release said. There will be a live screen-printing demonstration of bike prints by local artist Amanda Post.

RootStock will mark International Sauvignon Blanc Day on Saturday by offering complimentary tastings of these wines. RootStock is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturdays. Musician Kyle Bowen will play in the tasting room from noon to 3 p.m.
