Auditions for ‘Same Time, Next Year’ scheduled

BENICIA — Auditions for Benicia Old Town Theatre Group’s production of “Same Time, Next Year” are Jan. 26-27 with callback on Jan. 29.

The show features a male and female. Both characters age from 25 to 50 in the show.

The plot centers on an accountant and housewife who have an affair. They meet once a year.

The Tony-award winning show opened on Broadway in 1975.

Open auditions are 1 to 4 p.m. Jan. 26 at 370 East L St. and 4-8 p.m. Jan. 27 at 140 West J St. Call backs are 7 to 10 p.m. Jan. 29 at 140 West J St. All locations are in Benicia.

Those auditioning should prepare a two-minute comedic monologue, not from the play. A resume and two prints of a headshot are also needed.
