FAIRFIELD — You can start the new year with a new movie.
“Dino Time,” which is rated PG, is an animated flick about three arguing children, stuck in a time machine that’s getting fired up. Jane Lynch, Melanie Griffith, Rob Schneider, William Baldwin and Stephen Baldwin provide the voices. It opens Tuesday.
Friday’s box office will welcome:
Andy Garcia stars in “A Dark Truth,” rated R, about an ex-CIA operative turned political talk show host. He’s hired by a corporate whistle-blower and uncovers widespread illness and actions against the environment.
“Texas Chainsaw 3D,” rated R, tells the tale of a woman who inherits some property in Texas, unaware of the horrors that wait in the mansion’s cellar.
Opening in limited release is:
“Sushi Girl,” rated R, is about a tension-filled dinner that involves a naked woman.
“Table 21,” not rated, is about a couple playing a game in hopes of winning enough money to move to Mumbai and live the life they have dreamed of. It will be shown in Hindi with English subtitles.
“Repulsion,” not rated, is a horror movie starring Catherine Deneuve as a murdering manicurist. Roman Polanski directs.
