Touro University announces commencement

FAIRFIELD — More than 400 Touro University California graduates will celebrate commencement in San Francisco on May 23.

The event will take place at the Marriott Marquis Hotel. Touro University California is located on Mare Island.

Touro University will award 130 degrees from the College of Osteopathic Medicine, 95 from the College of Pharmacy, 54 from the Master of Public Health Program, 70 from the Graduate School of Education, 32 from the Physician’s Assistant Program, 15 from the Master of Science in Medical Health Sciences and 11 from the Master of Science in Medical Health Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences.

Student speakers will be Kelly Campbell, John Muller and Ryan Ko.

Shelley Berkley, CEO of Touro University Western Division, praised the graduates.

“What they take away from Touro University California is more than a diploma,” she said in a press release. “It is an education in the Touro tradition and a commitment to serving, leading and teaching in their communities to advance the common good.”
