Touro University plans Research Day

FAIRFIELD — Health journalist Gary Taubes will be the keynote speaker Wednesday at Touro University California’s 12th annual Research Day.

Taubes will speak at 1 p.m. at Lander Hall A. The public is invited. He contributes to the journal “Science” and wrote “Why We Get Fat and What to do About It.”

The 12th annual Research Day is a campuswide event that starts at noon and ends at 6 p.m. It includes new research and unpublished work from faculty, residents, postdoctoral fellows and students from all programs at the university.
