FAIRFIELD — Touro University in will team with the Vallejo School District to host a speaker to discuss healthy learning environment for students.
Anthony Muhammad will speak from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Feb. 7 at the Vallejo campus of Touro. He will discuss the opportunities of transforming school culture by creating healthy environments and how it can affect student success.
Muhammad has served as a middle school teacher, assistant principal, middle school principal and high school principal and now works as an educational consultant and speaker. He is the author of the book “Transforming School Culture: How to End Staff Division” and is a contributing author to the book “The Collaborative Administrator: Working Together as a Professional Learning Community.”
The free event will follow Muhammad talking with Vallejo district and Touro staff.
