FAIRFIELD — Trustees for the Fairfield-Suisun School District meet Tuesday in closed session for the annual, end-of-year evaluation of the superintendent.

Superintendent Kris Corey, whose yearly salary and benefits total $269,572, spoke at the June 12 school board meeting about issues that included the new Common Core standards and the new local control funding formula for school districts in California.

“It was a great year,” she said of the Fairfield-Suisun district.

The meeting begins at 5 p.m. at the school district offices at 2490 Hilborn Road in Fairfield.

Let me get this straight, it is a great year according to Common Core Corey, but we have no resolution of the bullying issue with Mr. Fuedner's kids, the principal and one of its best teachers at Fairfield High School resigned with no concern from the board, and we are still stuck with a tax and spend board. that is NOT producing a good outcome for most of the District's students (especially with the Common Core Program). Common Core Corey wants a raise on Tuesday, but it appears to me that a pay cut is in order for both her and the board!!!!! And BTW, is my public information request for the salary info on the Sup and her minions going to be ready next week or are we going to have a California Public Information Act violation to add to the list of problems?.
