FAIRFIELD — Vallejo police are asking for the community’s help to find a suspected killer.

William Cordoba, 32, is wanted in connection with the Feb. 4 death of Jimmie Richardson, who was found dead on the streets of Vallejo.

Cordoba was identified as a suspect in the fatal shooting, Vallejo police Capt. Jim O’Connell said Monday in a press release. A warrant has been issued, charging Cordoba with killing Richardson.

Police describe Cordoba as a black man, 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 170 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. He is also known as William Johnson.

Cordoba is considered armed and dangerous, O’Connell said in the release.

Anyone with information about Cordoba’s whereabouts is asked to call Detectives Sean Kennedy or Fabio Rodriguez at 800-488-9383. People can also call Solano Crime Stoppers at 644-7867. Callers can remain anonymous.
