FAIRFIELD — Police found a man shot to death Sunday morning in Vallejo.

Officers responded to the call of a man not breathing at approximately 9:30 a.m. on the 500 block of San Antonio Way and found that a 33-year-old Vallejo resident had been shot to death, police report.

Detectives and crime scene investigators were called in to continue the investigation. Police served several search warrants in an attempt to identify those responsible for the killing. Police did not release the identity of the victim.

The investigation was ongoing. Anyone with information about the fatal shooting is asked to call Detective Raul Munoz at 648-4531.

Although it may be too early to tell, I believe black history month is off to a bad start in the tribal village of Vallejo. Of course, this is all the fault of the ''good ol' boys'' and other assorted neer'dowells who have long standing unremedied concerns over the growing welfare society and its counter-balance, the police state.
