Vacaville school on lockdown as cops seek suspect

VACAVILLE — Jepson Middle School is on lockdown as Vacaville Police search for a suspect in a burglary near the school.

Police say a witness saw a burglary on the 700 block of Linwood Street and the suspect dropped some guns as he ran along Alamo Creek late Wednesday morning. Police have set up a perimeter and are searching for the suspect with the aid of K-9 police dogs.
