ELMIRA — Police serving a search warrant this week arrested three people and seized 26 pounds of marijuana as well as cash and weapons, according to a news release Friday from the Vacaville Police Department.
The Vacaville Police Department’s Narcotics Enforcement Team served the search warrant at around 7:30 a.m. Thursday at a house on the 6000 block of Chicorp Lane. Police said they found the marijuana, a small amount of methamphetamine, ammunition, several long rifles, a handgun, stolen property and around $10,000 in cash.
Delmacio Fernandez, 30, Viola Gonzales, 60, and Virginia Lomeli, 31, all of Elmira, were at the home during the search and were taken into custody without incident, the release states. A 13-year-old child was also present and was taken into protective custody.
Animal Services was called to the home to take custody of two adult pit bull dogs and three pit bull puppies.
Fernandez was booked into the Solano County Jail on suspicion of a host of violations, including possession of marijuana for sale, possession of a firearm by a felon or drug user, felony probation violation, possession of ammunition by a prohibited person, and receiving stolen property. His bail was set at $55,000.
Gonzalez was booked on suspicion of possession of marijuana for sale, receiving stolen property and obstruction or resisting. Her bail was set at $25,000.
Lomeli was booked on suspicion of possession of marijuana for sale, possession of a controlled substance and receiving stolen property. Her bail was also set at $25,000.
