Vacaville police arrest Fairfield man

VACAVILLE — A man seen acting suspiciously in Vacaville neighborhood was arrested Monday after a search of the area.

Police were called at approximately 11:30 a.m. A resident reported seeing someone leaving a home on the 300 block of Walnut Avenue after trying to enter it. Police set up a perimeter after the man fled on foot, jumping fences in the area.

A K-9 unit found a man in the backyard of a Walnut Avenue home. He was taken into custody without incident, police report.

Leroy King, 34, of Fairfield, was arrested on suspicion of possessing drug paraphernalia, prowling and trespassing.

Police ask anyone with information about this incident to call 449-5200.
