VALLEJO — Vacaville brothers Alexander and Jose Hernandez Jr. were both sentenced Thursday to two years behind bars for their roles in dealing drugs in Vacaville in 2010.

Three simultaneous police raids on three Vacaville homes in November 2010 turned up lots of narcotics, marijuana, guns and cash at the brothers’ homes.

Police found more than $11,000 and about a quarter-ounce of a white powdery substance at Alexander Hernandez’ home on West Monte Vista Avenue. At his brother’s home on Linda Vista Lane, police seized 2 pounds of marijuana, 170 marijuana plants, an AR-15 assault rifle, a shotgun, a machine gun and hundreds of rounds of ammunition.

Both brothers pleaded no contest last year to a felony charge of possessing controlled substances for sale. Jose Hernandez Jr.also previously pleaded no contest to possessing an assault weapon.
