FAIRFIELD — A 2015 trial date has been set for a developer’s challenge to more than $500,000 in fees charged by the Fairfield-Suisun School District.

Attorney David Lanferman, representing Concord-based West Coast Home Builders, said during a Tuesday court hearing that the developer seeks a refund of fees.

“The district has floated several creative settlement proposals,” Lanferman said. “We have tried to explore them.”

A Nov. 24 settlement conference will precede the March 20 trial.

West Coast will bring its CEO to the conference while the chief business official along with the director of facilities for the Fairfield-Suisun district will be present.

“Bring all your files,” Solano County Superior Court Judge Paul Beeman said in court Tuesday to the builder and school district.
