Suit by man who says he fell 2 floors set for review

FAIRFIELD — A lawsuit filed against the Solano Affordable Housing Foundation by a man who said he fell two floors to the ground after watching a boxing match at a friend’s apartment on Kennedy Court in Fairfield and stepping outside to the balcony that collapsed, is set for an Aug. 22 case management conference.

The Solano County Superior Court review follows the filing by Michael Padilla earlier this year over the May 5, 2012, incident.

A representative of the housing foundation referred a request for comment to the attorney representing the foundation. He declined to comment Tuesday.
